Recruiting for a Big Data Engineer for Rplus Analytics Solutions. Candidates require Big Data experience and preferably have had involved throughout the development life cycle of the engineering team especially within the designing, developing, implementing and quality assurance of software. Good understanding of test automation in the areas of Bigdata and Hadoop for complex integration projects. Looking for a SDET with strong knowledge of Big Data, Hadoop, data pipelines, data integrity and testing of multiple data sets. As a QA, Data Engineer ensure that the input data gets transformed into a desired format and is fed into a system of interest and validation of data pipelines and metadata handling processes. Alongside this the Bigdata Engineer should have strong development and testing skills in API testing with sound knowledge in automation frameworks using Selenium and /or Cypress.

Responsibilities:

1. Expertise in designing, developing and implementing Big Data Solutions
2. Expertise in Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, Git, etc)
3. Expertise in data mapping/modelling and understanding of data requirements
4. Understand the complex systems, their integrations and are involved in the testing of data pipelines and metadata handling processes.
5. Support the developers in diagnosing the software issues.
6. Software testing using data volumes and situations similar to the production.
7. At least six years' experience in Senior Automation with strong Java experience
8. Understanding of Agile software development methodology
9. Perform API testing, Back End validation and be highly proficient in microservices
10. Develop the automation frameworks from scratch and huge experience using automation tools like Selenium and / or Cypress
11. Prepare test plan, test case, perform test execution
12. API testing using SOAPUI or POSTMAN
13. Design and execute functional and regression test cases
14. Identify defects in application under test
15. Experience in Building Automated Testing application for Software as a Service Products (Example : Rplus Demand Sense)
16. Experience in handling large Volumes testing for SAAS Products
17. Experience in Hive & Hbase

Skills

- Extensive knowledge of Big Data technologies Hadoop, Storm, Kafka, Spark etc. and data engineering

The specialist will need to be highly experienced (Practitioner level) with the ServiceNow product, able to deal with the day to day development and design of features and applications within the platform and contribute towards the design of the DWP place programme milestones - Specialist will build, configure & develop ServiceNow platform improvements (meeting supplied requirements and deliverables) around platform capability/usability/stability - New feature discovery; support business analysts/designers to investigate/guide requirements for new capabilities - Software Development Lifecycle Process - Service enhancement and new service delivery to the required standards - Lead integration and automation between Estate products

Responsibilities:
